Title: X-Men 3

Year Of Release: 2006

Review Date: January 31, 2007

Rating: PG-13

Running time: 104 minutes

Box Office Gross: $234,362,462 & $458,753,312 worldwide.

Recommendation: Not recommended, as it contains heavy doses of violence and  sexual content.

Anchored on the character Wolverine, X-Men 3, reportedly the final film in the series, was a disappointment. While the efx were stunning and the art direction and design very crisp, there were too many unexpected, negative turns in the plot that dragged the film down.

The film was darker and more chaotic than its predecessors. It also contained a raunchy scene between Wolverine's character and that of the film's hero turned main villain.

Wolverine

Considering it is a superhero type film that will attract kids, said scene could have been left out. So could some of the violence, as it spoiled the film. Frankly, certainly elements of the film were demonic.

Hugh Jackman, Halle Berry and Patrick Stewart turned in great performances, as they did in the first two films, but the storyline was an unfit, morbid ending to the series.
