Title: The Silver Chalice Year Of Release: 1954
Review Date:
Rating: PG Running time: 135 minutes Box Office Gross: N/A Site Rating: 8 out of 10 stars
"The Silver Chalice" was an entertaining film, reminding one of great Bible epics of the past. The acting was on par, the sets elegant and the costumes were beautiful.
The film, starring the late Paul Newman, is about an artist commissioned to create a cup based on the "cup of Christ" and the travails he goes through in undertaking the task. |
