Office Gross: "Clash
of the Titans" is a loose interpretation of the battle between Zeus,
Poseidon and Hades gone loco. Not one for mythology "Clash of the
Titans" did nothing for me. The special efx were over the top and
overwhelming, which isn't always a good combo. The storyline was dark and
deranged. Though,
many acclaimed actors and actresses were featured in the film, the special efx
dominated everything and not in a good way. Every time they turn around, someone
else in this movie gets killed and in some terrible fashion. At the end, there
isn't very much left standing. Ironically, the film is supposed to be classic,
but it isn't every classical.
