The movie "The Boss" was absolutely crass and derivative. In watching the trailer, one is misled into thinking they will view a funny film, but upon actually viewing "The Boss" one is left unamused. The movie is about a wealthy woman, Michelle Darnell, who loses her fortune due to insider trading. She is sent to prison and upon release discovers she has lost everything.

This film was a rip off of "Troop Beverly Hills" but without the humor and endearing qualities of the 80s classic about a girls scout troop. This movie is also loosely modeled on the life of billionaire cooking and decorating guru, Martha Stewart, who went to jail for a few months on insider trading charges. However, once again, Stewart has class and substance, this film does not. The movie was awful and deserved all the bad reviews it received for being a lazy rip off that comes from a hodgepodge of sources.

"The Boss" was gross, vulgar, violent and unentertaining. They destroyed a good premise with terrible screenplay writing and directing. For an industry that used to put out decent, entertaining films, it's amazing the sheer amount of debased, mentally disturbing movies that are being churned out by Hollywood.

Case in point, this film contains a scene with underage girl scouts cursing at each other and violently fighting in a vicious manner in the street. Other segments of the film contain scenes where underage girls (preteen and teen) are exposed to vulgar, profane sexual language and threats. That's not cute or funny! The sad part is the girl scout aspect of the film, will attract impressionable minors to this movie.

These types of depraved films are now plentiful in Hollywood and eroding the public's minds, especially kids. I am worried for the next generation upon viewing the garbage being released as entertainment. The inmates are running the asylum in Hollywood. Crazy degenerates with film budgets spoon feeding the public madness in the form of entertainment.
