This fascinating documentary
takes an in depth look at the Shroud Of Turin using forensic science that This riveting film uses science to confirm Christ’s burial/resurrection Shroud is indeed 2,000 years old and “forensic experts’ analysis of the wounds on the image that appear to closely reflect those described in the New Testament.” During the documentary, an expert spoke of a type of material found in the more recently discovered ruins of a city not far from Christ’s burial and resurrection place, which was made of the same type of rare linen and made with the same rare weave stitching, thought to be the only type of its kind, definitively dated to the time period of Christ. Another scientist stated the probability of the Shroud of Christ being a forgery is highly unlikely. He stated it would have had to be “the most extreme piece of forgery” in history, due to the scientific and comparative archaeological data attesting to its validity. The Shroud is currently housed in Turin, Italy. External link: http://www.shroud.com
