Selena is a well-filmed retelling of the life of the Tejano superstar. Jennifer Lopez did a great job playing the tragic singer that was gunned down by her fan club manager, Yolanda Saldívar, who was obsessed with her and ripping the singer off. She lured her into a trap, then killed her at a hotel.

Had her life not been cut short by a bullet, she certainly would have had a big career in mainstream pop music, with her posthumous release, racking up two hit singles and stellar sales.

Her story is another reminder of how far obsessed stalkers will go, to destroy their innocent targets, they wrongfully believe they own.
