Title: Mean Girls Year Of Release: 2004 Review Date: July 31, 2008 Rating: PG-13 Running time: 97 minutes Box Office Gross: $123,000,000 Site Rating: 3 out of 10 stars "Mean Girls" is a film about a high school student, Cady (Lindsay Lohan), who starts off kind of geeky, then gets in with the cool kids and turns into a mean person. Considering Lindsay Lohan played the role of said high school kid, it is indeed art imitating life. For further reference see 2007 when Lohan started hanging out with real life "Mean Girl" Paris Hilton and mental patient Britney Spears. The most grounding influence at Cady's school is her math teacher, who she ends up hurting. Rachel McAdams steals the show in this film, which is ironic as Lohan is the lead. I really don't recommend this movie, because though it has the appearance of a family friend high school film, it also has many vulgar scenes and crude jokes that don't serve said audience. It's a shame actually, as the film has a decent message towards the end.
