Lions For Lambs was an interesting film that explores the choices that fuel wars waged by the U.S. government. The language and heavy doses of liberalism weren't particularly endearing, but the film had some good points.

It tells three stories at once – one of a Republican senator (Tom Cruise) being interviewed by a liberal reporter (Meryl Streep), a university professor (Robert Redford) trying to inspire a young student and two friends fighting in combat in the Middle East.

The ending of the movie is quite sad and depressing. However, all too realistic. Scientologist Tom Cruise certainly didn’t help the film’s poor box office. Said cult has destroyed his career.
