"I'll Be Home For Christmas" is a movie about a young man, racing home for Christmas, as his dad promised him a Porsche if he makes the long trip for the holidays.

He encounters ridiculous and somewhat cheesy obstacles in getting there. This film was too materialistic, even in its general theme of not being materialistic, which didn't really translate.
