"Holiday In Handcuffs" stars Melissa Joan Hart as a waitress with problems. She ends up with a hairstyle she did not want when a home perm goes awry, due to an error she made. Her boyfriend also dumps her and she misses a job interview. Then she is overwhelmed at work and becomes irrational and unstable. She becomes upset at the thought of going home to her family without the job she wanted or a boyfriend.

"Holiday In Handcuff"

In a desperate bid, she kidnaps a customer at the restaurant, Mario Lopez's character, David, placing him in handcuffs. She forces him to drive home with her for Christmas at her family's home. She lies to her family that he is her boyfriend and forces him to play along. David makes many attempts to call for help and escape, but they fail. "Holiday In Handcuffs" has some entertainment value, but became annoying at times. The repeated, failed escape attempts by David grew irritating. The end has a somewhat unexpected twist.
