Title: Chasing Churchill Year Of Release: 2008 Review Date: July 31, 2008 Rating: PG
Running time: 58 minutes
Site Rating: 7 out of 10 stars I found the PBS documentary "Chasing Churchill" enjoyable. It showed a different side of the British statesman, as he traveled through America. His granddaughter, Celia Sandys, retraced his step with an informative narrative about his time in America. The scenes at San Simeon were quite interesting, as well as the footage of Charlie Chaplin. With the bad acting coming out of young Hollywood today, it makes you wish for the days of silent film again. But then again, most actors and actresses today are only hired for their looks, anyway. |
