SPOILER ALERT

"Bridge of Spies" starring Tom Hanks was an interesting and compelling film. It is set in the 1950s during the Cold War and centers on the true story of attorney James B. Donovan, who becomes the legal representation for spy Rudolf Abel, who is arrested and charged with spying for Russia.

Due to taking the case, Donovan's family members are criminally harassed by the public, who target them at their home. The government prevails in the case against Abel, but rather than giving him the death penalty, Donovan assists with a prisoner swap, which becomes dangerous. "Bridges of Spies" is a sad film with very dark undertones, but it was well made.
