"American Sniper" is the movie based on the autobiography of the late Chris Kyle, a highly decorated Navy seal, who is credited with the highest number of kills in U.S. history. Kyle was stationed in Iraq for four tours of duty. However, Kyle was killed at age 38, when he returned home to Texas and tried to help a schizophrenic Marine, Eddie Ray Routh, who has been sentenced to life in prison.

The movie shows how Kyle became a Navy Seal, met the love of his life, Taya, with whom he went on to sire two children and how the war in Iraq affected their lives in so many ways. Many of Kyle's fellow servicemen were killed in Iraq and over a war the world later found out was a lie concocted by former President George W. Bush and vice president, Dick Cheney. It is sad and tragic that so many precious lives on both sides were lost over what the Bush Administration perpetrated.

The movie "American Sniper" was a very interesting film. It was properly filmed and the acting was very believable. The big budget film went on to win a number of Academy Awards for this very tragic story.
